About
3 years ago my grandson required medical attention just a day after he was born at East Surrey Hopital in Redhill. Over 12 days he received outstanding medical care, whilst his parents were supported by an amazing team of nurses and doctors. The Special Care Baby Unit provides a calm and supportive environment, within which parents and visitors alike are welcomed.
It is a great privilege to be raising money for this worthy charity. To this end, Duncan Barker and I will be walking from France to Spain across the Pyrenees from 22 - 26 September. The walk traces the famous Camino trail and we will be walking from St Jean-Pied-du-Port in France to Pamplona in Spain, a distance of 68 kilometres reaching an altitude of 1450 metres.
The money raised will go towards equipment and facilities to enhance care for babies and their families while in the unit.
Thank you for your generous donations. It means a lot.
