We are excited to announce our new project to create an outdoor growing space at Sunshine Day Nursery, and we need your help to make it a reality.

By donating to the SASH Growing Space fund, you will contribute to a wonderful opportunity for children to engage in hands-on learning about healthy eating, understanding where produce comes from, and learning how to care for plants. The best part? They get to take home the fruits and vegetables to share with parents at home. This not only allows them to proudly showcase their hard work, but also provides a wonderful opportunity for fun family activities like cooking together, trying new recipes, and enjoying healthy, home-grown meals. 

The joy on the children’s faces as they plant seeds, nurture their plants, and watch them grow is truly priceless. They thrive in the outdoors, relishing the chance to work together in small groups and check on their crops. Even if some crops don’t flourish, they still gain invaluable experiences that stay with them for a lifetime.
